Positive Review for Palazzo Montalbano in Scicli:
I absolutely loved my stay and would love to return! the hotel has a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere, and my room was fantastic and tidy. Its location is excellent, being just a short walk from a lovely cafe on the main square, nearby restaurants, and beautiful churches as well as the town hall. I also enjoyed a few drinks at Symposium, which is just a few meters away from the venue.

The vintage decor gave the hotel a unique charm and the view of the churches was breathtaking. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay amazing.
I absolutely loved climbing up dark and unsafe outside staircases in the evening. It was so thrilling, like a horror movie!

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely, spacious room in the heart of the village. The room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities I needed. The breakfast, served in a nearby restaurant, was delicious and a great way to start the day. The highlight for me was the piano in the room, which added a special touch to my stay.
Although I encountered a minor issue with noise from a bar playing loud music, the manager was incredibly responsive and promptly gave me another room without any hassle. I really appreciated their swift action and willingness to ensure my comfort.

We had a terrible experience on New Year's Eve due to the loud street noise that kept us up all night. the check-in process was a bit confusing and not properly communicated beforehand.

What an outstanding new year experience! the ornately decorated ceilings and period furniture were breathtaking, reminiscent of living in a palace. Being just a few steps away from the UNESCO pedestrianized center made it incredibly convenient to explore the charming town. the modern bathroom was on par with any five, star hotel, and the office space outside with a terrace offered an excellent nook to work on my laptop and unwind. Street parking was available for free, making it a stress, free arrival.
The breakfast experience was lackluster at the nearby cafe just a block away. Staff training was lacking there.

The value for money at this place was exceptional, and the room was absolutely stunning with painted ceilings and luxurious furniture. The location was great, with beautiful sights nearby and friendly locals who were proud to show us around. The staff at the check-in cafe and throughout our stay were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service.
Breakfast items could have been improved with more variety and options.

The room I stayed in at Palazzo Montalbano was absolutely charming! It had a historic vibe with its 18th-century palace setting, and the view overlooking the Santa Maria La Nova district was breathtaking. I loved the fact that it had all the amenities I needed, including a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. As someone who likes to have their own space and be independent during a holiday, this room was the perfect choice for me.
Personally, I found the tile/marble floor in the double room a bit cold and uncomfortable to walk on. However, I understand that others may appreciate the authenticity of this feature.
